NEW! Canine Good Citizen

I have added the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) training and test to my list of services. The CGC test is good for all dogs, especially those who like to visit public places, live in close proximity to other dogs & people, dogs who have access to children & the elderly, and for those who just want "proof" that their dog is as good as they think he/she is. For more info visit AKC CGC

Insurance companies have black-listed some breeds of dogs such as Rottweilers, pit bull-type dogs, Dobermans, etc. meaning they will not insure a home with such breeds or will raise the premium. Some insurance companies in certain regions have accepted the CGC certificate as a way to determine a dog is a good citizen and therefore will in fact provide coverage and/or offer a discount. For more information about Breed Specific Legislation (BSL) go to
ASPCA BSL & see if your city or state is listed at Dogs Bite.
